Chris Miles


Chris is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn and was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in June 2004. Shortly afterwards he was admitted to the Supreme Court of Gibraltar as a barrister. He joined Verralls in September 2004 and became a partner of the firm on 1st July 2009.

The main areas Chris specialises in are property and commercial law, although he also has an interest in criminal and civil litigation.

In litigious matters, typical areas of practice include Personal Injury, Professional Negligence and Criminal Law. Most notably, Chris has experience of conducting appeals before the Court of Appeal for Gibraltar and has over 10 Jury trials under his belt.

In commercial matters, Chris specialises in Property, Private client and Commercial law. He has acted for purchasers and vendors in most of the residential estates in Gibraltar. Chris also acts in the setting up and licensing of Moneylending companies, the restoration of companies and applications in the Supreme Court for relief under the Companies Act of Gibraltar
