Director

Craig was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in 2001 and shortly afterwards was admitted to the Supreme Court of Gibraltar. Craig specialises in property and conveyancing matters, company law and advising a diverse range of businesses on every aspect of the law.

Craig joined Verralls in June 2003 as an associate, after having spent a number of years working as an associate in Gibraltar’s largest law firm. His work in this area included the drafting of interconnection agreements, trading platforms and Codes of Practice.

In January 2006 Craig became a partner of Verralls. For a number of years, Craig’s main area of practice consisted in advising wealthy individuals who are considering relocating to Gibraltar and in preparing all relevant documentation in this respect and Craig still advises Category 2 individuals in connection with their own personal wealth and tax matters, and effective tax structures. His work now mainly consists of setting up new businesses through to advising large well known international franchises on all aspects of property, employment and company law.

The firm ceased operating as a partnership on 30 June 2017 and commenced operating as Verralls Legal Limited, trading as Verralls Barristers & Solicitors on 1 July 2017.

Craig has also recently expanded his areas of practice and is now regularly being asked to advise on Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation matters.

Craig is also a non-executive director on the board of an insurance company, which are controlled and managed from Gibraltar.

Very much known as a hands on problem solver and mediator, Craig always displays an astute commercial mind, with his clients regularly asking him to help develop their business plans.
